Our Church and Event Financial Policy

FINANCIAL POLICY

Rev. Rob Schenck has for over twenty years maintained a policy that places no cost on churches for his ministry. There is no required fee or minimum honorarium for his pulpit ministry. We ask only that a free-will offering be received after the message is delivered. For conferences, rallies, or other events where an offering cannot be taken, we suggest an honorarium of $3500 morning and/or evening services, or $1000 per service for extended meetings.

A note on travel expenses: The high cost of travel has made it necessary to depend upon our hosts to cover these expenses. Coach-rated airfare, all ground transportation, hotel rooms (non-smoking, king-size), and meals must be covered in total. For local events, Faith and Action will charge $0.37 per mile driven when going to an event. Faith and Action will arrange all accommodations prior to each scheduled event, ensuring costs are as low as possible for our hosts. Following the visit, Faith and Action will submit all expenses and receipts via email or fax for reimbursement.

To ease bookkeeping, please make out separate checks for honoraria/offerings and travel reimbursements.

All checks should be made payable to Faith and Action (not to Rev. Rob Schenck)

Please mail checks to:

Faith and Action
Attn: Peggy Birchfield
109 Second Street, NE
Washington, DC 20002-7303

Honorarium checks should be also made payable to Faith and Action and given Rev. Rob Schenck on the day of the event. Free-will offering checks should be mailed to the address above within 5 business days after the event.

Thank you for your careful consideration and cooperation in these important matters. We look forward to enjoyable and fruitful ministry work with you.
