Building Our Future – The Importance of Our Internship Program

“‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams . . .’”  — Acts 2:17

Why does Faith & Action put a lot of time, dedication, and effort into our Internship Program? We know that the future sharing of the Gospel and the very leadership of our nation will be in the hands of the next generation. To that end, your missionary team at Faith & Action takes great care in bringing student interns into our ministry center here in Washington, D.C.

Faith & Action’s Internship Program attracts students of the highest achievement. We train, instruct, and guide what are potentially tomorrow’s leaders during their time at our ministry center.

Our interns are not getting coffee and making copies: they are doing real work – in fact, they are doing relevant and important work. Throughout the week, the student interns work at our ministry center, right across the street from the U.S. Supreme Court, engaging with the public; meeting with influential leaders; attending strategic programs, events, and meetings on Capitol Hill; attending oral arguments at the Supreme Court, and helping with gala events.

Faith & Action’s interns not only learn about government, business, and ministry, but they also are spiritually fed through prayer and Bible study!

Would you pray for our interns – and for this generation of young people – that the Lord would mold and shape them into the Christian leaders He wants them to be? And would you consider helping us with our Intern Training Program? It’s one of the most important things we do in a year: impart a vision for ministry to the hearts and minds of the next generation!

Your monthly pledge gift will keep our internship program humming year-in and year-out. A special one-time gift will also be a big boost!

Please make your tax-deductible gift to keep our internship ministry moving forward. You can make your donation online HERE, or call in your gift (202-546-8329), or mail it the old-fashioned way to Faith and Action, 109 2nd St, NE, Washington, D.C. 20002.

Thank you for investing in the lives of future missionaries to Washington, D.C.!

On Behalf of Your Faith & Action Ministry Team,

Mrs. Peggy Nienaber
