STATEMENT FROM PEGGY NIENABER
REGARDING MASS SHOOTING IN LAS VEGAS
THE FAITH & ACTION MINISTRY TEAM ASKS FOR PRAYER AND SUPPORT FOR VICTIMS
OF LAST NIGHT’S MASS SHOOTING IN LAS VEGAS
October 2, 2017 (Washington, D.C.) Following the worst mass shooting in the history of the United States, Mrs. Peggy Nienaber, is asking for prayers for the victims, the wounded, and the families of all those affected by this senseless shooting of more than 515 people last night in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“At times like this, the greatest contribution any of us can make is to surround victims and loved ones with our prayers. We commend the first responders, police, and civilians that put their own lives at risk to save the lives of others and help the wounded to get to safety. It’s an outrage that innocent people — including young children — who were simply attending a music concert in an outdoor venue became targets of a faceless perpetrator bent on killing as many people as possible. As members of the faith community, we call on every individual to pray for everyone in Las Vegas as well as pray for the end to the devastating violence that is gripping our nation and world. On behalf of the Faith & Action ministry team, we send our faith, love, and prayers to the victims and their families in this atrocious and purposeful act of violence.”
