Why did the Apostles freely give their life for the Gospel . . .
Why do missionaries risk their lives on a daily basis to share the truth of God’s Word . . .
And why do countless pastors faithfully preach the Word of God every week in their churches. . .
The answer is simple: God’s Word changes lives.
It’s for this very reason that Faith & Action co-sponsors the U.S. Capitol Bible Reading Marathon every year. This program enables all those in and around the U.S. Capitol to hear the Word of God being read 24 hours a day from April 30th to May 4th.
We would love for you to join us for the Opening Ceremony on Sunday, April 30th at 6:00 p.m. on the West Plaza of the U.S. Capitol as we pray and anoint the iconic Bible-shaped podium. Or, you may also join us for the Closing Ceremony on Thursday, May 4th at 12 noon on the West Plaza of the U.S. Capitol. This special event will feature speakers, Members of Congress, performances by Liberty University’s “Shine,” American Heritage Troop & Trail Life Color Guard, and more.
If you can’t be a part of this unique and powerful event please DO pray for us, the Bible Reading Marathon outreach, and all those who will hear the Word of God proclaimed at our nation’s capital. Also, you can help us by supporting the U.S. Capitol Bible Reading Marathon with a gift of $75, $150, $250, $500, or $1,000 by CLICKING HERE.
Thank you again for all you do to help us share the Gospel in Washington, D.C.
