Faith and Action president Rev. Rob Schenck was one of the first to greet Scott Brown when the newly elected senator from Massachusetts arrived on Capitol Hill. Rev. Schenck has spoken earlier with Senator John McCain, who is hosting Mr. Brown.

“Scott Brown makes a very interesting first impression,” said Rev. Schenck. “He seems humble, sincere about what he is doing, and appears to have a conscience. We talked about a few things, but among them I assured him of my prayers for his success in defeating healthcare legislation that would fund the abortion industry. He’s right on many things, but dead wrong on some critical moral issues. Of course, that’s why our ministry exists and that’s how we can help him.”
