Faith & Action Renews Commitment To Mission Focus

It was only a few hours after the 2008 election when Rob Schenck started getting calls from supporters of Faith and Action asking what happens now. “I told everyone the same thing, nothing different,” Rob said. “As a Christian missionary outreach our message is always the same, no matter who is in office or what party they represent.”

Unlike lobbying groups, Faith and Action remains consistently focused on proclaiming biblical truth to those in positions of power, even through government transitions. The purpose is to awaken the consciences of elected and appointed officials.

“People won’t do the right things until they can think right. They won’t think right until their hearts are right. And their hearts won’t be right until they’re right with God, and that begins in the conscience, in the soul. That’s where we aim our message,” Rob explains.

The message is simple and timeless.

“It can be embodied in one sentence,” says Rob. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
